- How do I place an order for downlights?
You can do this easily on the Light Planet website, by adding a downlight/s to the cart, going through the checkout and payment process. Alternatively, call us on 1300 533 489 to place your order for downlights. If you have a Trade Account, one benefit is you can order and checkout without payment required.
- To purchase downlights, what payment options are available?
Light Planet accepts both Visa and MasterCard and we charge 0% interest. PayPal payments are also accepted and in the near future, so will payments via AfterPay.
- How do I track my order for downlights?
At the moment, our automated tracking platform is still in production. All orders for now can be tracked through our internal inventory system. Simply call us on 1300 533 489 to check on your order progress.
- Can I still order downlights from Light Planet if I'm not a contractor?
Certainly. Light Planet prides itself on delivering high quality downlights and other products at unbeatable prices. Should you wish to make a purchase, simply add an item/s to your cart, and from there follow the checkout instructions and pay either via credit card or PayPal. - Can my order for downlights be returned?
They can. No problem at all. You have until 30 days from the day of purchase to return any Light Planet product except Fire Sale items. No hassle, no restocking fees. Please note that any return must be in its original state. And also, any returns must be done at your own cost. You are free to courier, post or simply drop it into our Port Melbourne distribution centre. Call us if you want to return your downlight.
- What are your warranty policies for downlight orders?

- Can I pick up my downlights at your location?
Absolutely. Our distribution warehouse is in Port Melbourne, which is very accessible to the Melbourne CBD and just off the freeway. Pick up times are from 7:30 am – 5.00pm, Monday-Friday.
- Do you offer same day deliveries for your downlights?
We do. For all orders in Melbourne metropolitan locations received before 11:00am, we can get most goods out on the same day. If you’re in regional Victoria, orders mainly take 24 hours for delivery if placed prior to 1:00pm on the day before.
For any order to South Australia or New South Wales locations, it usually takes 1-3 days to arrive. For any order to Queensland, Western Australia or Northern Territory, please allow up to 7 days for delivery. Its usually quicker though.
